Answers:    The directions instruct you to mix "1 part" formula with "X" parts marine, depending on the age of the chick. "Part" is any volume. They are giving you a ratio.

I don't know what age you're feeding but take this **example** by saying 1 part of the pack to 3 parts (ratio):

If you use a tablespoon, then mix 1 Tbsp formula with 3 Tbsp water; whether you use a cup, then mix 1 Cup formula with 3 Cups water.
