Female Kitty - when contained by bake?

We just adopted a homeless kitty. She is about 6 months per vet. We have her 1st vaccines done. I forgot to ask the vet, but I know she likes to wait until the 3rd set of vaccines to spay the kittens. That would mean Lily would be approximately 9 months. I have 2 male (neutered) cats at home. Will Lily gain in heat before 9 months? If she does, how long does the warmness stays? I read that I would have to wait until she is no longer in fry to get her spay? She seems like a touch kitten that only needs our attention now :-)

Thanks
Answers:    Talk to your vet in the region of this.Explain that you're concerned that Lily might go into heat before the time is "right" to go and get her spayed, and see if the vet will do it sooner. I really do not know what the reasoning is for all of the shots to be done BEFORE a spaying!

If the vet won't spay her, and she does go into roast before the surgery, you're looking at..a week to 10 days of.growling, loud moaning incessantly, rolling around on the floor, sticking her butt in the air, and (possibly) the males decide that, even though they've been neutered, it would be a good perception to "mark" their territory. The hormones that the "in heat" female exudes, will "trigger" this response within the males!

So, try to PERSUADE your vet to take care of this BEFORE it happens! I hope she does...

Good luck...
My kitty be in heat at 3 months. Not sure how long it stays. We get her spayed after 5 months. You only need to wait 5 months...
