please help my kittens always jump on my laptop and they knock out key!
Put them surrounded by a different room when you're on the laptop. Or distract them with a kitty toy.
There is a fun little trick to take cats to not jump on things, Get a couple mouse traps and set them up on the computer, make sure to cover them near layers of newspaper so that cats do not get caught within them! When the cat jumps up it will set off the loud snap and movement of the mousetraps and will startle the cat. Usually after a couple times, the cat will not be interested to go up at hand at all.
Answers: There are rubber pads that you can get that train cats not to jump within or on a certain area. My friend has one on the counter and when the little one isn't in the crib she has one in the crib so that approach if the cat jumps on or in that nouns it shocks the cat. Not anything super strong just enought that the cat doesn't like it and won't go close to that area. I'm not sure what they are called though
if they are doing it while you are using it, pick up kitty, put it rotten to the side, and say (sternly) NO. Go back to using laptop. Repeat as necessary. You will own to put the laptop off to the side at some point though, and pay attention to kitty. That is their reason for getting within your fact to begin with.
It's part of the fun of having kittens, I loved it when ours 'helped' me on my computer ! But a moment ago get them lots of catnip toys and a scratching post,each time one jump onto your computer, lift him gently down to the toys. Cats are very intelligent and soon cram, if you treat them gently.
