Kitten beneath floor boards please sustain ?
I have taken in a lost kitten last darkness due to bonfire night etc. It seemed very shy at first after quickly became comfortable. When waking this morning my elder cat had pulled the plynth down off the work tops and the kitten has run under there. I cannot hear anything and I am worried . Can anyone suggest anything ?
Place some of the cats favourite food near the hole it disappeared down and loaf to see if the kitten comes out. or alternatively make noise hard by the hole with its favourite toy.
The kitten is probably scared and hiding, have you be down on the floor with a torch and tried to see him? I'm sure if he could capture in he will be able to get out, try doing as others hold suggested and leaving food nearby, otherwise keep things settle down and quiet and make sure at hand is a light nearby for him to be able to see the exit gap and eventually hopefully you might see a little head peeping out. If you get more worried as time go by you may need to consider removing some floor boards. Good luck.
use food to get it out and catch ready to grub at it.
The kitten will most possible find it's own way out when it's hungry. Are you sure it was lost surrounded by the first place and hasn't simply gone home? It could be that your older cat has chased it absent.
Most of the time if a can can get surrounded by somewhere it can get out. Usually the more you try to get it to come out it will stay hidden. If you hindmost off and put out some canned food and water close by by it will come out on its own. if it was up all hours of darkness it may be sleeping this morning. cats are nocturnal, they play at night and sleep in the day time.
it will be ok the kitten will find a means of access out at the moment it is probably scared but when its ready will come out some how
Answers: You could try going away some cat food out near where it got contained by and hope it makes it's own way out. is there any process you can shine a light underneath and take a look? if you're really worried try calling the RSPCA and ask for counsel. Hope it all works out! :)
