My cat have be gone nearly 24hrs and have moved out her kittens?
My cat left last night short us realising and has left her 3 week old kittens at domestic. they are starving and are crying lots. Its very strange as she is usually adjectives. the birth went extremely well and all kittens are on top form and she is a brilliant mum. its our first cat that has had kittens (and will be the last), so we are not really that experienced.
what shall i do?
shall i wait some more to she whether she will come back?
should i take immediate feat?
what action should i take?
please only answer whether you're experienced
thank you
xXx
First you need to care for the kittens. give them hose or milk and fresh food.
idk wat kittens eat, i guess u shud just buy canned kitten food becuase i own dogs merely, and anyways make sur the kittens are healthy. Then contact like a shelter and search out for the mother cat,Put up signs, if you want to. if it had died some how, afterwards care for the babies yourself.
And wait.
thats basically adjectives you could do, its really up to the mother if she wants to return.
I would start to bottle nurture.they only need to eat nearly every 8 hours or so at this age if they are healthy, I'd run to the store and get the supplies to bottle nurture while waiting for mom to come back. Be ready...the formula is very expensive - just about $50 for a large can to feed many kittens for a couple days. They are also at an age where on earth they may start to eat from a saucer...but don't feed regualr milk unless it's an emergeny and they haven't eaten contained by another 12 hours..
Okay kitten milk is good. I have to feed kittens when their mom got killed. You engineer the milk room temperature. there are bottles you can buy but I have found that the syringe works best. Usually when kittens hit a enduring age the moms leave them for durations of time. Longer and longer each time. Ask the vet how often they should chomp through at this age. When feeding them they will suck on the tip of the syringe. You have to place drops on their tongue. DO not lie them on their back or tilt their heads back. You can drown them this way. It is deeply easy to do this. Not trying to scare you but if their head are left as they would naturally be when feeding them adjectives will be fine. I had a cat leave for almost 24 hours up to that time returning to feed her kittens. Unless something happened her she'll turn up.
Its typical for the mom if this is her first time doing this to be gone for a while. Think of it this passageway. If you just gave birth to a litter of screaming babies 3 weeks ago and were within with them almost constantly you'd need a break. They do this surrounded by the wild as well. This is their nature to "hunt for more nourishment" after individual hunkered down for so long. Hope I helped.
my cat Spot did that but she came rear. I think the mother has this instinct that even though she get food regularly from you, its still in her to go looking for food, more so when they have kittens. i dont know why but cats are extremely weird like that. Spot came subsidise the next day, starving and didnt saunter off again. Sadly she is dead now of outdated age. do ring the vet to be on the safe side cos you never know...
The Kittens need feeding, contact a vet fr his advice.
what you need to do is obtain some milk and feed it to them with a seringe if she dnt come hindmost in the next hour because they need to be nurture or they will go week
Answers: ok the mother will probably come back but in the mean time you obligation to feed them
you can get cat formula from pet stores and things and you need to bottle nurture them once every 3 or 4 hours.
also if the mother doesnt come back, (God forbid), then you inevitability to stimulate their private bits with a cloth to get them to excrete if theyre not doing it by themselves already
The first entity is to feed the kittens , contact the vet as he can give you special formula for them.
I hope mummy cat comes home without risk .
Here is a recipe I got from the vet and it works. My female dog got really sick and I have to feed 4 puppies untill they could eat on their own. Works for kittens too.
4 once of carnation milk
4 once of boiled water
1 egg yolk (yellow factor only)
1/2 teaspoon of cornsirup
1 thum (for calcium) or 4 drops of Cod Liver oil
Get a feeding bottle from the pet store.
Try to feed them a recurrently as you can.
Hope everything goes well.
She may enjoy been caught in someone's garage. If you can, keep her indoors singular.
Cats sometimes do leave after they had kittens because they don't get the impression well but ring the vet because this is very important
Hi, I would lift immediate action and feed those kittens . Take an behind the times t-shirt, tear off a small piece, warm some milk surrounded by a cup for 10 sec. (microwave) test the milk temp just as you would for a human baby, on your wrist, later twist a corner of the clean piece of t-shirt, dip it in the milk and, one at a time, nurture each kitten. Keep dipping it in milk 'till they seem to be full, move about on to next kitten. Keep them in a warm confined box or picnic basket out of the light (in a closet maybe) and feed every few hrs. Sorry to say, mom would've come spinal column by now, sounds like something's 'happened' to her. Call a vet's office whether she still hasn't returned by tomorrow, looks like you have 3 orphans! Hope mom shows up though. They're quite immature to keep alive unless you get help from a professional. Good luck! Let us know what happen.
here is something you can make yourself.

Definitely your kittens will need feed, especially if the mother hasn't returned yet.
At this point, you may own to think the worst, as she may have had an stroke of luck or been injured and unable to return.
I would read:
http://www.acfacat.com/orphan_kittens.ht...
About caring for orphaned kittens - purloin the information you need.
DO NOT feed the cats cows milk, as this can be extremely harmful to their robustness! If you're uncertain with how to proceed with their vigilance, consult your vet, they will be happy to provide you with crucial care information as well as kitten forumla to feed them.
The switch is to keep the kittens warm and hydrated and if they are really childlike, they will need help passing stool/urine - use a slightly soaking, warm cloth and rub gently along their belly towards their bottom (like a licking cat mother) they will pass stool/urine with this action.
Best of Luck, your best consultant is your vet, whether they are a good vet, you will be able to call them any time during regular hours for proposal regarding the health of the kittens.
we have had lots of cats and they wander sour for days at a time and then return as if nothing have happened
so dont worry it will return ( eventualy )
contact the vet about the kittens they will be hungry
