My cat, who have herpes, may hold a infection, or adjectives cold?

my cat has been displaying questionable symptoms the past few weeks. She sort of act like she is coughing up a hair ball, but she never does and its be going on for weeks. It sounds also as if she is congested when she does this, as if shes trying to cough up not a hairball, but phlegm. She also is sneezing, multiple times in a row. They are not dry sneezes by any mechanism, lots of phlegm comes out. Now she does have herpes type 1, she contracted it while at the pound. So, my question is, is this serious, the vet warned me roughly speaking stuff like this, so should i take her to the vet? or am i overreacting from what the vet warned me just about..
Definetely take her to the vet right away as the vet advised to do so. It might take serious without needed medications. Hope your cat feels better!
Definitely take her to the vet. Rather surprised you're even asking this interrogate. The herpes virus in cats makes them more susceptible to respiratory infections. And when symptoms show up the only process to help the cat is to TAKE IT TO THE VET and get it on a course of antibiotics. I have a Persian cat next to this and he has a flare about once or twice a year and once he's on his meds it only take a few days till he's remarkably improved.. How sad your poor cat is suffering and you're doing nothing to lend a hand it!
Answers:    zillions of cats have feline herpes. You can buy L-Lysine made by Viralys on CalVetSupply .com for MUCH cheaper than at the vet. Just get some 1cc syringes and distribute it to your cat twice per day (if it's an adult cat - if a kitten, ask your vet how much to bequeath, it will be per the cat's weight). Feline herpes can reoccur with stress, so don't fret if it comes back. Just start her on the L-Lysine again. It taste so good to the cats I've given it to, it's kind of like a treat for them.

Also sounds resembling she has an upper respitory issue and may need either some Clavamox or Vibramycin. Ask your vet also around bronchitis. I have a cat with chronic bronchitis - if it's serious, she may want a special inhaler, or, when you hear her coughing like that, turn on the hot shower and sit in the steamy bathroom with her for, resembling, 15 minutes. It will clear some of that up. It's not fatal, nor is feline herpes with treatment.

I'd be interested to know whether your girl has chronic bronchitis and what the vet says! Give her kitty hugs from me!
The reality this has gone on for weeks and you havent taeken her to the vet is wrong !
