My cat's tail seem to be injured?
I've seen this question asked around but I want to ask in a bit more detail. I notice the other day when my cat came in from external that when I touched his tail it hurt him. He seems to have a bump in the center of his tail which cause him to not be able to fully move it. It's not fully immobile though. His tail is arched like a rainbow and he can no longer erect it all the way up. He only seem to be in pain when the bump on the tail is touched, other than that he is fine. I hold no clue how this could have happened.
Aww poor thing :( take it too the vet a cat in twinge is not a game
Cats often have accidents involving their tail eg they can be accidentally shut in a door or even caught on a fence -- I knew a cat that jump onto a corrugated iron fence when a cat-hating neighbour chased him off & he slipped and the end of his tail be sliced off.
Usually there is a bump where the injury have occurred but the fact that he doesn't appear able to use his tail suggests it is broken.
As the other correspondents enjoy suggested, you really need to take him to the vet to be sure. Can you provide feedback after he is see?
Good Luck
Answers: Cats need their tail for balance. Take kitty to the vet. this may only be a dislocation. If your cat is in affliction, see the vet.
first tell your parents and then dance to a doctor it could be a blood clot were it might not be getting the right circulations but also it might be even worse im not saying it is but the lump might be cells growing twice as vigorous to course a lump that is the first sight of cancer so get it checked out its better to know whether it is or not then to leave it and find out later and the sooner you find out the more arbitrariness of cervival not saying it is definitly cancer because it might just be browsing hoped i have help xxxx
snip snip cut it off cut it off!
It sounds like his tail is broken. You need to steal him to the vet.
Nobody can tell you whats wrong with your cat... not even vet (well not ONLINE ANYWAYS). Who are u asking? Get your *** to the vet.
consult your local vet??
His tail is probably broken or he may have an abscess. he needs to go to the vet to rule out an abscess. If his tail is broken, It depends on where on earth the break is. Either way, he needs to see a vet. At the very least possible he may need some pain relievers and/or anti inflammatory meds. If he has an abscees, it requests to be drained and he will also need an antibiotic. PLEASE TAKE KITTY TO THE VET.
like others hold said take him to the vet...
