What is majority colors for kittens/cats?
I have a buff kind of kitten, a tangerine kind of cat, and a tiger charitable of cat,and a black cat. What are normal colors? What are rare? Thanks! (:
Now, look up cat breeds, and many of those are rare to see.
As for colorations, the most common are probably:
Gray Tabby, Orange Tabby (including Buff), Black/White ''Tuxedo'', pure Black, and Siamese coloration.
Working next to a rescue, you often get requests for pure white, ''russian blue'', and ''Maine Coon'' looks (big, fluffy, and likely to be full-size!)
Your tangerine would be a Red (they range from hurricane lantern red to darker/deep red)
More then likely they are tabbies (most cream and reds are).
The normal colors would be: black, blue (grey), brown (tabby), blue tabby, red tabby, cream tabby.
The more strange colors are found in purebred cats (once in a great while you might find it in the broad population). are:
Chocolate, Lilac, Cinnamon, Fawn, Apricot, Silver, Blue-Silver.
These are a few examples.
Tabbies are the most normal colors, in gray or ginger.
Blue/gray should be the most odd
see ya! ( i was joking about the blue, green, point, dont take it seriesly.)
We had a cat going on for 10 years ago that was white with lg. black spots and one peach ear and one brown ear. now we enjoy a white cat with lg. orange spots and a black and brown cat.
