What things does your cat/kitten brings domestic?

When i was little girl, i remembered my granny's cat used to bring mice, wild rabbits from woods home, i asked my granny why does cats do that? and my granny told me its only just cats brings them as cats thinks its present for their owner is that true?

Anyway, what did your cat bring home?, my kitten still too young to be out till she get sprayed then i would let her out, i hope she wouldn't bring anything home lolx
In the summer, 1 of my 2 cats brings things home on a regular basis.. mice, voles, frogs, birds.ALL ALIVE! Luckily I know someone who takes within birds, hand-rears the baby ones, and nurses them to good health until they are resourcefully enough to fly off.

My cat also brings other things home...stones, twigs, peg, to name a few. She's eccentric.
Our cat is 95% house cat, as she's been spayed she doesn't go far, a short time ago sits by the back door when it's open. On the rare point in time she goes off she has brought 2 mice and a babe-in-arms rat back alive. Our house backs onto field so at hand are plenty about.

If she's to bring anything back, I'd rather it be insensible. Have you ever tried to catch a baby rat while keeping a cat and dog from catching it and your mother standing on a chair shouting instruction to you? I laugh so much after, tears were rolling down my face.LOL
my little guy have brought home sparrows, snakes, butterflies, and anoles (little lizards). it hasn't happend in a while, though. just be prepared for "offerings" from your newborn.
hmmm...where to start with my little honey.

I have had frogs, toads, mice, birds, and voles

I've been to the local park releasing mice, frogs and birds that come across to be ok

I've taken half alive birds to the local vets to be 'taken care of' (thats what they enunciate...they'll take care of them-I'm not even gonna think what they aim by that...I mean - they'll nurse them til they're better.right??)

I've found half eaten bits of god know what left for me.

and we've had mice running around that she's let progress and hasn't caught again for a while

cats eh? who'd have 'em
Answers:    i enjoy had lots of birds, frogs, toads, mice, voles and a bat
you prob will get things brought to you its a sign of affection and they are sooo proud when they do it
oh and mine also raided one of my neighbours ponds ending year and brought us 3 koi carp!! hope they never find out it was my kitty
My 3 cats bring home a lot of things, particularly my littlest one. She brings home mice, moles, rabbits, snakes, chipmunks, birds, and bats. Since she is so light she can climb trees faster. I reflect it's gross but I think it means that she cares for our relatives and she hopes to get a reward. I try my best to save them if it's not too tardy.
We've got 2 cats, Bobby and Bandit, and simply Bandit brings us "gifts".We've seen Bobby in action and to be honest he's not highly good at hunting, he tends to grab 'em and after let 'em go, and he'll do that for ages if we tolerate him (which we don't). Bandit is the hunter.
We've found rats, voles, the occasional frog/toad, on our raised patio but sometimes Bandit has brought small rodents domestic that have been squished in the road...yugh! they are completely flat!
He seem to go through stages with his hunting. We can find something he's killed every daytime for a few weeks and then there's nothing for a few weeks.then he go back to bringing stuff home again. We have field at the back of us so in the summer when the fields be harvested we had loads of "gifts". Sometimes they are whole and sometimes they aren't...I hold designated my hubby as Chief Put-'em-in-the-bin.my tummy churns just looking at them lol.
ya its true.
And my catz bring home birds, moles, mice, frogs, snakes-that are still alive, lizards, bat, and even rabbits.
They normally eat the rabbits and leave the head and guts on the floor for us! lol
my cat used to bring home mice as a "trophy" in a minute shes mesmerized by lizards & eats them lol

one of ours bring in the red elastic band the postman drops in the street we find them everywhere
Other cats - the teasing minx!
Our house backs onto a nature reserve, and during spring and summer our cat brings us LOADS of things! The most popular is shrews (they run VERY brisk and are difficult to catch), but he also brings us mice, and unfortunately the occasional bird. He's also brought us a couple of frogs too!
its true that cats that bring presents home as they see it is a great honour
