How do I catch brown doggy throw up stale of a gray runner?
I've already used the carpet cleaner and scrubbed and it got the bulk of it but their is still the gloomy stain. Help!

You'll probably get lots of potions and concoctions to mix up. But try REALLY hot river - I mean really hot water - mixed with a short time dish soap and use a scrub brush. Also, try (believe it or not) windex! It's worked on some really tough doggie stains at my house.
There is a professional pet stain removal product called FOLEX that is used by companies to remove these type stains. you should be able to lay down it online. It works just as well on carpet. I own used it to kill pee and barf stains many times.
Simple Solution is pretty good. I use it for all stains on the carpet and sofa.

I use a carpet upholstery cleaner that I get at the local Auto Zone parts store.
It comes with somewhat scrub brush built in.
Made by Turtle Wax, and I haven't found a spot it couldn't fix.
We keep a can ready at adjectives times.

I'd try something like Resolve which is made for carpet..
If that didn't work.. I'd grab my wet dry vac.. and I'd mix a solution of liquid Tide beside bleach alternative and HOT water at a 1:4 ratio. Soak the spot and then use the wet dry vac.. repeat as important.
