How do I stop my dogs from intake my furniture?

I have two dogs ages 1 and 2. One is a golden retriever and one is a hound and they have gotten into the annoying and expensive habit of intake furniture and taking things like tupperware, gloves, socks, newspapers, etc. into the backyard when my husband and I are gone or sleeping. I don't know what to do anymore. They are driving me crazy and I love them to death but it's getting somewhat out of control. They have all the toys they could possibly want and they can jump in and out of the house as they please because they have a dog door but nothing seem to work. The dogs also know what they are doing is wrong. I can tell the minute I get home whether they've done something bad because they won't even look at me let alone come over to greet me but if they hold been good they are so excited to see me. I love my dogs they are the sweetest most obedient dogs when we're at domestic and I can't imagine my life without them but I don't know how much more of this I can whip! Please help!
Crate or kennel when you aren't home. Can't imagine having dogs I can't trust while I'm absent. I have five of them, and none of them cause problems. They have a dog door and own freedom when we are gone. Sounds like a training problem. Contact your local kennel club and have them recommend a good trainer contained by your local area.
I would take your dogs to obedience training. It's much smaller number expensive than replacing your furniture. While you are doing that, I would buy the bitter tasting stuff that people sometimes put on things they don't want their dogs to chew on. You can get it at most pet stores and it is massively inexpensive.
That's why God invented crates.
what i did when my dog did this was bring her to the item that she destroyed and tell her, see this, NO. apart from very calmly. then after more or less a weeks period, when she didn't destroy something, reward her with something approaching a new toy. this may not work because my dog is a lab, but since your dogs are at a young age, your outcomes are very plausible to work.
They need to be exercised and stimulated to hold them tired so they dont have the urge to chew.
Petsmart, Wal-mart and other stores have an item call Bitter Apple spray. Dogs hate this citrusy taste. It doesn't stain and deters dogs from chewing items that they shouldn't!
Answers:    Crate training.
If you can not be there to supervise your dogs need to be surrounded by crates to keep them from destroying your home.
Speak to a trainer, or go read some books on crate training- This is the exact type of point it's meant for.
Easy - Crate them when you're not home or they're unattended, for their safety and your right mind (And bank account!).
how about feeding them well and bring back some dog toys for your pet to bite? guess the 2 dogs must be puppy or still in growing up stage, which they need to bite something. if any way still don't work, then please lock the dogs OR lock your furniture. Cheer !
If you ever see them chew up furniture and things when your around, make a loud tumult. This will startle the dogs and if you do it enough, they will come to associate chewing furniture with the loud rumble. When your not home, put them in a crate. Don't be aggressive if you prefer to put the dogs in a crate though because if they decide that they don't resembling the crate and fight with you then you own a whole other problem. Put treats in the crate, then they will know that the crate give them good things and they won't be so unhappy about one in there.
