How do i stop my puppy from running out the door?

I have a 6 month old pointer/pitbull puppy and hes 50+ pounds hes a good dog but when that door open he darts out.Hes got out about 4 times and hes extremely briskly one time he got out we had to get within the car to chase him down.We find ourselves having to sneak in and out the door. And its really not a problem coming surrounded by its leaving.ill go to depart from and before i know it he darts out..i have no model how to tell him no or how to stop him
Everytime you go out the door lock him in a room, and have somebody else consent to him out. If he does it, yell at him and scold him. He will stop. Hes still a puppy.
Whack him beside a rolled up newspaper when he gets near the door. It won't hurt him, but it will gross an awesome noise, and will teach him to stay away from the door.

He's a pretty smart dog -- he know there is another world out there, which he wants to explore. Get a leash and embezzle him out for a walk.
get a gate that's really tall and string put it by the door, hold on to him outside. Never leave ur house haha jk
Have someone who isn't disappearing hold him while you leave. Or if possible get some gate and block off the doors to the room where the front door is. You should really be crate training anyways, then you wouldn't hold this problem.
he's only 6 months old. He's only puppy/baby,& does not know right from wrong. You have to teach him that/train him!If he's to tough to handle, only just get a proffesional to help you.I had trouble next to mine to,he's 6 now,& still needs some work in areas but know when i mean buisness.Hope I helped you some,& good luck!
train him using treats and other rewards for NOT running away and responding when you telephone call him

eventually he'll become accustomed to the treats and will always return
...dont open the door, use the windowpane instead =]
The same way you stop your kitty from peeing on the floor.
use hand gestures (pointing, etc) and enunciate NO! loudly and proud, like you're the boss. and if nothing else works hit it.
close the door? think logical.
Answers:    train him

what we have done with our dogs (all six) is we hold them SIT when we are going to open the door, you need to choose a specific place for the dog to ALWAYS sit when you open the door (we chose the stairs directly surrounded by front of the door so they can see what happening)

You will need to work with the dog CONSTANTLY, you need to remember to be lenient and not loose your temper (even once)

start out with just have the dog sit in the "spot" using a key word (we use the word"Wait"), give a treat, play near the dog for a couple seconds, do it again. When the dog does it correctly, shout YEAH!!, clap your hands, give a treat, play, repeat. Continue to do this until the dog get the hang of it. Then, say the word, but when the dog gets into the spot, unambiguous the front door (or which ever door you use), then say YEAH, clap your hands, administer the dog the treat, and play with it. If the dog stands up when you open the door, start over, ignore the mistake, maintain repeating until the dog gets it.

When that is taken care of, vote the word, open the door, step outside, maybe two second, then come in, say YEAH!!, clap, bequeath the treat, play, repeat. Slowly increasing the time.

This will take a while, but in the end, it is worth it.

Good luck!!
get hold of a gate and block the door
i would train him buy keeping a leash by the door and then when someone is coming surrounded by put a leash on him and hold him eventually he will learn not to do it
baby proceeds, ha
go out the chimney
spank him.
