Legit: Where do your dogs sleep? Mine have to spawn do with something less luxurious. Two squashy dog beds, next to the occasional foray onto mine.
If I had a spare quarter of a million I would be more inclined to build a house for me rather than my dogs.
One of my dogs sleeps on a sofa at the bottom of my bed & the other sleeps within my sons room on the bottom of the bed, across his feet.
For all the Americans out here 250,000 pounds is HALF A MILLION DOLLARS...that said...that lady, being a surgeon, should be ashamed of herself...why not donate to her hospital or some other program to help find cures and medication for important things like cancer, heart disease, or HIV.anyway, my kennel run me about half that much but it houses 20 dogs comfortably, required a lot of concrete and steel and it have it's own water, electric, and septic system. And of course I did it for a reason excluding making my 2 Malticockerwheatengoldenlabrayorkiepoodo... "comfortable".
i dont muse its a waste of money if you have the money and i resembling it and i can afford it my 3 dogs would love it.but i just got them a lb250 kennel each.thats lb750 spent on kenels this year.i win them a new one every 2 years
I have nothing to add to Curtis M's answer bar bravo. He said it best.
Legit: My dogs sleep on their own normal dog beds in many rooms of my house. My garage is converted into several 8' kennel runs that never get used except when I have a dog surrounded by heat or when I'm baby-sitting the neighbor's dogs. :)
Vintage Collies
Wow, that place is a whole lot nicer than what my house looks like and sure did cost alot more. If those citizens have the money for that, well, more power to them.I could never afford that. Do I think it's extravagant refuse of money...maybe. Like I said, if they could afford it, why not?
My dogs sleep in my room at dark.one is on the bed, the other is on a big pillow at the foot of my bed.
~ Curtis M: How do you know what she does with her money? Do you know for sure that she doesn't donate it to needy cause?? Just because she has more money than you doesn't make her a bad being. Don't say bad things about her whether you don't know her. ~
Our kennel building is a custom build MD Barn, turned into a kennel next to 35 indoor bedrooms with steel/foam/wood sandwitch walls, indestrutable (stallion kick proof) and then nearby are the high test chainlink runs, the heated Lectro kennel mat beds, toys , shelves, the stall mat, trampoline beds, the 4 airconditioners, the heaters, the wiring, the permits, the super gluey concrete center isle (the dogs bedrooms have sand floors and stall mats to save joint, and litter boxes for easy cleaning). There there is the lighting , the bug and fly zappers, the air purification machines, doggie doors, the sinks and refridgerator, the dishwasher, the marine heater, the steel bowls, and buckets for water that are washed every light of day and bleached .
Our kennel set up cost us $ 250,000. , my exhusband inherited money, and adores dogs, and wanted a kennel building that would be appealing, professional, clean, indestructable, insulated, and sound proof.
Why shouldn't dogs have the best that we can provide? If the view that money should be given to starving people instead, then we really should put down adjectives pets, and put all money into feeding and housing people. At most minuscule the kennel building will eventually pay for itself by making the property more valuable.
My one dog sleeps on the bed or beneath the bed. The other one sleeps in his crate.
If i ever have lb250,000, I will be spending it on a human house, not one for dogs! (i may permit my guys live in it with me though!)
My guys sleep in typical dog baskets near loads of blankets and cushions in the kitchen.
If I let them on my bed, they take up too much space and hog adjectives the duvet!
x
I could build that for half the price.
You've got to be kidding me. That is nicer than where I sleep, no agency in crap is my dog getting something better than me.
The dogs sleep in their big bed in the floor. We tried the dog bed pillows and they refuse to sleep on them, just chewed them up.
who own s the dogs paris hilton that is over the top my dog used to sleep in a bed in my room not surrounded by a kennel like that
It is up to the individual how she chooses to spend her money, I would not want my dogs to be in a kennel they enjoy sharing my domestic and I enjoy their company. My dogs sleep next to my bed on their own big soft beds.
Excessive! It`s downright criminal does she not realise near are people starving and homeless. She should be ashamed of herself...
it's a waste of money
my dog sleeps in his doggy bed within the hall but sometimes(especially in windy and raining cats and dogs nights) he goes and sleeps right in front of the door(I think he is self protective or sumtin)
I would not put my dogs into a kennel, they have a large room in my house which is purposely designed for them, this is where they eat and dry off when they go and get all muddy and wet, before coming into one of the other rooms. When my husband and I brought the house we did consider the dogs and brought a house near lots of land and were able to put warranty fencing around some fields making it into a secure paddock for the dogs. My dogs sleep either surrounded by the dog room, or in one of the bed rooms, or lounge on sofas beds or their own beds
If i won the lottery then i would buy them for in a minute though any dog i own will have to make do with a standard wooden kennel resembling the rest of the dog population!
Well, wow! I kind of feel sorry for the dogs---automatic feeders and waterers. That means hand off care. I bet my dogs are happier, living in my house next to me providing hands on care and lots of lovin' too!
I was impressed that it produces more enthusiasm then it uses. That's cool! Go Green--but it will take alot of resources to build such a place. I don't think it could ever set off out.
haha she has more money than sense, my dog had a dog bed and she slept on the landing even that wasnt right enough she tended to move to the floor in front of my bedroom door
Answers: l think you'd need more money than sense to go to that extreme.
l deduce the dog would rather cuddle up to the owner to go to sleep rather than sleep surrounded by there. Although why have dogs if you intend them to live within a different house than you do, just mad.
Milly sleeps in on her bed at the side of mine, demonstrably tucked in, she hates to get cold.

Amy sleeps contained by bed with my son.
Little Alfie sleeps in his crate.

That is over 4 times what I paid for my HOUSE - my 1300 sq. ft., second from the lake, huge yard, house.
Sorry, I, for one, have more brains than money!
That is absolutley ridiculus !
I love my dogs to bits, and they have a lovely comfy bed right by the radiator in my Laundry , but i would never spend that amount of money on it !!
A plasma telle ?? what the hell, pointless
lol
Whats the point in that then? The dog would fairly sleep on the bed with its owner anyway.
That dog kennel is worth more than my house. =/
I guess if you've get it like that...why not.
My dogs have their own squishy dog beds on the floor, but they appear to always like to sleep on our bed with us...particularly when it starts getting cold at night like it is now. I tend to get up up with an 80lb Lacie squished up against my legs for heat.
