i was wondering if i should adopt a dog.
i have the money for food, toys, vet,
i be wondering if my chocolate lab would get along with a another dog.

i was looking at adopt a lab/shepard mix do shepards generally get along with other dogs/cats?

appreciation!
Adopting is the best choice. Save an animal. Try taking the one that had the most abuse and show it what love really is.
Can you pedal massive destruction to your yard and property during the puppy stage? Do you have enough landscape for the both of them? Does your other dog have any bad habits that the puppy will pick up on and intensify, similar to barking? Do you have the time for training and attention?

If you answered yes to any of those, then no.

The reality that you're asking means you're doubtful, so you probably shouldn't. Money for the food and vet isn't just enough, it take a lot of commitment.
Yes, they do get along with other dogs, I should know! I hold one! ^^ I think you should indeed adopt another dog. I really hope you find the right one. Peace out!
It sometimes depends on how your raise your dog. My friend has a shepherd and it get along with every animal no matter what kind it be. But i don't know if it was just her dog or some other dogs are parsimonious. But i think they are pretty good dogs. But yes save 1 of a thousands dogs lives
yes travel to a shelter and adopt. dont go to a store =]
Excellent idea, labs and shepherds are wonderful dogs, and so are labs.
They should get along ok, but just to be out of danger take your current dog to meet the new one beforehand hand.
yes
save a animal's life
adopt
Adopting is a great theory you are saving that puppy because after a dog gets old and no-one desires to adopt it they get put down...

So yeah you shud adopt it
I dream up it's a great idea! Labs mixes are good. I've had labs my unharmed life and they adapt very capably to other animals. They take new animals under their wing. I'm just hoping you are going to adopt from a shelter because there are so many doggies that want homes!
Sure, you will be giving a home o a dog who needs it. A resourcefully socialized dog, will be good with any animal.
Answers:    Pets are very complicating so if you do decide to adopt after make sure you are ready.
Yes. Labs get along with other dogs okay. Seems like you have planned this out well. Good luck!
your dog doesnt seem similar to a dog that would get jealous of you spending time with another dog..and most shepards grasp along with anything!
MOST OF THE TIMES THEY DO BUT RARELY THEY DONT.
YESS!! If your other dog get along with other dogs well...than im sure he'll LOVE a friend!!
Sure.
ya!
YES!

they should but you should because you will other have someone to play with
You should adopt a dog from a local shelter.
Your dog will get along fine with a powerfully balanced dog. They may roughhouse at first but that's just cause they want to find their spot in the pack. Get a female dog, males and males not raised together generally fight harshly over property ownership. They'll each fault scents and then they'll fight until one give up or is hurt. :(
Shepherds are the sweetest dogs ever! I used to own a GSD (German Shepherd Dog) and she was the best! so sweet and content, very smart and lively.
They need lots of exercise though, walk to this website to find out more about mixed breeds:
