What concerned of mix is my dog?
When I adopted him from the aspca... i was told he was most possible a pitbull/small breed mix. Ive had him for a year and he stayed right at 40 pounds...im think pitbull/ chihuahua mix

I think he might be Pitt and Boston Terrier. The size would be about right. Mixes tend to be a bit smaller than the average of the two parenting breeds. (So Akita is right out!) (Boxer pretty unlikely as well)

Perhaps Pit JRT? Are Pharoh Hounds adjectives where you live? Big ears could be Pharoah Hound.
Usually what's in mix's are what are the most common dogs contained by the region... where I live we're overrun with Lab/Shep mixes, with some Pit orHusky thrown surrounded by. Consequenty, most of our mix's are like that.
ADD: Wow those are bizare ears... looking at the second pic I'm going to say NOT Chihuahua... your dog is super solidly built. Mostly Pit for certain. Maybe pit with a bit of Shepherd back in the inheritance somewhere?

I'd say Pitbull/German sheperd mix, particularly with those ears and his "stance". My sheperd mix never got over 40 lbs. and we had her for sixteen years. Cute pup!
