Which is better... Alaskan Malamutes or Siberian huskys?
And why?
Both are great! I am partial to Malamutes only because I had one for 16 years.
Although they are both northern breeds they were bred for different purposes.
Malamutes were bred to verbs heavy loads that is why they're chest is more stout.
Huskies are leaner and have a slimmer body because their career was to pull sleds over long distances.
I think you should access your situation, what are you going to be doing beside your dog? Walking, sledding, ie. etc? I believe it's a personal opinion and depends on what your activities are and the general nouns and stature of your needs.

Okay. You are asking which is better which I assume is because you haven't done any research. Both these breeds are large, powerful working breeds with minds of their own, everlasting energy and a bad reputation.
Instead of asking here you should do research at www.akc.org and www.dogbreedinfo.com to get object information.
Please be aware if you are interested in these breeds that they dig, chew, yelp, howl and RUN. They need a LOT of exercise and special care in the summers due to their thickset winter coats. Both breeds can be very stubborn (a trait from them having minds of their own) and difficult to train, especially whether they are not sufficiently exercised.

Answers: In my personal opinion, a Siberian husky. I admire their graceful body shape, unlike the Malamute's more bulky appearance. Huskies are divine and playful and have the most stunning eyes!
i would own to go with Siberian huskies. there more playful and bigger and more loyal
