30 gallon ocean FOWLR?
I setting up a 30 gallon FOWLR tank w/
-1 Flame Angel
-1 Yellowtail Damsel
-1 Black Clown goby
-1 Randall's Goby
-1 Purple Firefish
-1 Pistol Shrimp
-10 Nassarius Snails
-10 Astraea Snails
-10 Cerith Snails
-1 Banded Coral Shrimp
-20 Dwarf Blue Leg Hermit Crabs
-12 Scarlet Reef Hermit Crabs
-3 Peppermint Shrimps
-2 Emerald Mythrax Crabs
Is this ok?
Also some may say that this is too many cleaners but it's not besides if the snails die they make more shells for the hermits
I would not add the yellowtailed damsel. Although they are smaller fish. they are severely aggressive towards other that even bigger than them.
The dotty back is going to be really aggressive too. In fact, worse than the the damsel. They are pretty little things but really upset a tank. Anything a similar shape, or that be added after the dotty back is fair game and will find tormented to death. I would also think that the 30 gallon tank is not going to supply enough food for the clean up crew. It would certainly be a damn pretty container though. Maybe halve all the quantities of verbs up crew. I know you say its not too much so please dont be offended by this advice, a short time ago a suggestion. Snails will fowl the water when they die in numbers.
no
Too many fish :o and the snails will easly duplicate!
Answers: That's a few too abundant fish, and I agree on the damsel--it'll be aggressive.
