3 goldfish, will they be okay beside newly an nouns pump?
My other tank leaked, so we've transferred them over. Though, the filter for the other tank be built in, so now my three goldfish are in another reservoir with just an air pump. Will they be okay short a filter?
Thanks.
ye i am sure thats fine
don't verbs about it, you don't need anything but cold water and fish food really! I hold kept my goldfish like that for years. All the stuff about them dying because of the bacteria is amazingly unlikely. Without a filter algae does build up much faster which means the entire water should be changed once a week, that is a downside.
yes they will be ok goldfish are one of the few fish that can live without an airpump as well as betta fish
yes. I have 2 different kind of goldfish some bottom feeders and algae feeders and two types of fresh water angelfish, not really sure what they are, they were given as a offering, In a 55 gallon tank. I only clean my reservoir about ever 6 months, but if the water go down because of evaporation then I will fill up the tank
Answers: Daily water changes to get rid of their plop; 10% will be satisfactory as we are only talking 3-4 days.
See if you can acquire a hold of one of these filters, all it needs is an nouns pump, carbon and synthetic wool and it's a good bit of kit in an emergency.
it is not OK.my suggestion is keep a lot of extra dampen around, I would change the water every day.
inform: The water needs to be aged, three days at least.
my own experience is goldfish warmth 100% fresh clean water. it is OK to change close to 70% daily when you do not have a filter.
yes u ideally stipulation a filter as fast as poss but as u gettin a new tank contained by 3-4 days just do regular water changes to avoid a build up of amonia and nitrites within the tank,,,
to the person that only change water every 6 months that is sooooo bad,, i turn to my aquatic store 3 days a week for water and gossip and see empire that do such as you and the water tests look like disco lights showing how impossible the water is as nitrates over that period build up an up,, these are not as harmful as amonia and nitrite but can seriously afftect the fish ably being and growth rate which in turn causes premature death
no because there is nil to stop bad bacteria gettin into the pump and it will make the container a bit more dirtyer
Just buy a filter that fits over the side, you can achieve one for less than $20. If you decide not to get a filter for it you will enjoy to do PARTIAL (like 20%) water changes like once every two weeks. Even whether you get an algae-eater, part of the water will enjoy to be changed pretty often to keep the pH levels contained by check (because the fish pee and poo cause the water to be too acidic).
whether you dont have a filter, you need an algae eating fish (the one that sucks in that mouth on the tanks glass
maybe, but the tank might get adjectives gross, and the fish might die from bacteria in there.
yea...you don't even obligation an air pump really because thats why gold fish can live in only a bowl
Goldfish are messy little things. They need a heavy-duty filter so they don't assassinate themselves with ammonia build up.
Buying an "algae eating fish" will just incorporate on to the problem because they make poop too and they don't eat poop.
