Is near a slow flowing sponge filter?
Is the tank cleaned once - twice a week?
Is there a variety of foods?
How habitually do you feed your betta and how much?
Do you soak dried food before serving it to your Betta?
Have you checked the ammonia/nitrite/nitrate levels surrounded by your tank?
Are these level ok to introduce fish.?
