1st you need to digit out what is wrong and is a water change going to solve the problem

Please don't use tap dampen either RO Water (IMO) is the only water you should be using.

1st - log into Ultimate reef.com or Reef park - these are 2 of the largest reef community's within the UK with a massive amount of knowledgeable members that will give a hand you through your problems

I joined both RP & UR around 6 years ago and have been glad whenever I needed back
Answers:    Use the hotest tap water with conditioner you can do admin. Use only 1/2 of the water your truley need for this i.e. 5 gallons use 2.5 or so gallons of hot marine. Dissolve salt enough for 5 gallon into the hot water and use a verbs wooden spoon to mix. The salt will dissolve quickly. Fill with colder wet. (Temperature really does NOT matter here) Conditioner and your water is ready.

If your wet tests are coming up fine it isn't the water there is something else wrong near your tank.

How old is your salt reservoir here and what has changed? Feel free to im and I will do my best to help.
you cant take salt and put it in hot marine, and then you put the bucket outside for a while.
You mix the salt in a separate container. Never add any dry powder to a container.

Please go to www.aquahobby.com for help with your container.
I Dunno.
