How regularly should I do sea change?
My tank had recently developed ich. I am using API super ich cure as my treatment. How normally should I do water changes with this? How big of marine changes? Will doing water changes run out medication? How much salt should I use? How do I dose the salt after each hose change? Can ich permanently damage my fish contained by any way? I have lots of questions. I call for some help so if you know any of this stuff, please help me! Thanks! :)
Change 1 third of the water. Use Non-ick [not ich] medication 3 days in a row. No salt. Yes, sometimes ick can vandalize your fish if u do not take care of it right. I HOPE THIS WILL HELP.
you should can it once a month. whether the water is still clean then give up your job it... it the water is dirty in a week then shift it.
and you should get a pump that is a easy route of cleaning it.
Answers: doesn't the pills say how much water change to do?
near my betta (he has fin rot)
and i do use multi-purpose medicine for him
(it cures ich, fin rot, columnaris...etc)
I do a 25% water exchange before adding new drug
if ur bottle says do another dosage in 4 days
I propose you do a 25% water change
add surrounded by new water
run your filter to clean up excessive poop or doesn`t matter what that comes up during the change
and then add medication
(I usually do all this after I feed him his food at 9pm cuz i dont want them to be hungry when I tweaking water)
If it's fresh water fish
don't use salt all the time
I really don't know much going on for salt usage. I just know the other stuff I typed. But if nobody provides a suggestion, I surmise to be on the safe side...once a month do a 50% water change (instead of 25 on that year..) and put some salt in. Exactly how much...I have no clue.
