Disney is hoping that "Bolt" will boost hamster sale...?
Disney makes me angry...like the "101 Dalmations" people run out and compulsively bought dal.pups, I guess "Finding Nemo" also raised the sale of fish...and now the Disney Folks are doing it again beside the sale of hamsters.Disney is even making "Bolt" habitrails-cages ..uhhh Does this make anyone else mad?
Answers: I believe it's actually the other way around. Kids like hamsters, and they also approaching Disney movies. The "Bolt" movie and products are just a clever passageway to capitalize on an existing market.
I don't remember Disney having any vested interest in Dalmatian and clownfish sale, so any increase in popularity isn't entirely their fault. If you want to blame someone, why not blame the idiot parents who bought their kids pets without research any more about them than what they saw in the movies? It's nice to be able to target big corporations, but at some point you enjoy to realize that people are responsible for their own choices.
Disney has no stock in hamster sale or other pets.
I'm not so much worried about the hamsters as what will happen with chihuahua sale now that the chihuahua movie came out. THAT be not a responsible thing to do.
