Guenea pig?? diet and caution?
how do you take care for guenea pigs??
how much does its food cost (how long does it last?)
are they assured to take care for?
I am a collage student and I am home similar to 4 hours a day in daytime, will I be able to thieve care of them fairly>??
Cost of food is somewhat expensive because they love to eat profoundly (or at least in my case my guinea pig loved to eat) but after again it depend on the type of food you buy.
Usually pet stores recommend you to buy a pair since they are very sociable but I would recommend in your overnight case to just get one. They could be somewhat dirty so make certain to maintain their space clean about once or twice a week.
You do inevitability to buy a cage for them and make sure specifically insulated with hay/ shaved wood.
It's also nice to bond with your guinea pig so that they can get use to you. When I have my guinea pig I would carry it and pet it and feed it.
They could be noisy at times, specially when they want your attention or to inform you that they are hungry. So that could be a unenthusiastic.
They also live for about 5-7 years.
Overall you need to be responsible and give them proper attention within order for them to be happy.
In my experience I had two guinea pigs at one and the same time and one of them died because I gave them very little attention and sometimes I would sort of forget to feed them since I have such a busy schedule. So all I'm trying to articulate is becareful and responsible!
Hope this helps! :-)
I never said you did not seem like a college student but you should realize that you mis-spelled college :-)
Besides I'm only just concerned whether or not you'll be taking good care of the guinea pig that's all :-)
