When are bunnies matured plenty to be sold/given absent?
Rabbits should be weaned around 6 weeks, and cannot be sold before 8 weeks. If you do try and sell them in the past 8 weeks you will be breaking the law, and could get into alot of trouble. Rabbits sometimes need to be next to their mom longer, maybe a week or so, depending if it is runty. You can make that judgement. When you get rid of these rabbits, make sure you help the costumers the best instrument you can. That would include the sex of the rabbit must be distributed.
When sexing a rabbit place your fingers on either side of the genitals, and apply a little pressure. The organ will slightly pop out.
Female- will be triangular shape with a slit down to the underneath of the abdomen.
Male- triangle with more of a point, and opening will be circular
Do adjectives you can for the best of your judgement. Search on google for pics. if you think you need them. With my own experience I would hold the babies for a little more than 8 weeks. Just to be on the safe side. And when you wean them seperate the the rabbits by sex into seperate cages if not you will have more babies! I hope this helped, and I wish you the best of luck. Mine are 6 weeks old and are still feed off their mother.
Many give them away at 8 weeks frail as that is highly recommended so there immune systems are strong and able-bodied.
If you give them away and still need within mother, they will not be strong and can die easily if they get sick. as they wont be strong ample to fight anything.
Answers: Usually when they are about 1 1/2 months old or after they stop eating from the Mommy.
Please do not dispense away the rabbits though. You never know how they will end up and you would not want that on your shoulders would you?
Also please do not breed for profit. There are many rabbits that are kill or abused when rabbit mills just sling them out for a couple of bucks.
Did you know one rabbit not spayed can produce over 200 babies a year. Lets say you have 5 feminine rabbits that is 1,000 rabbits. Do you really think people entail that many rabbits?
