Is it allowed to hold snapping turtles as pets within ohio?
i have 2 baby snaping turtle whick were roughly 2 in. wen found floating down a almost dry stream so i got them and kept them and whether i let them go im afraid they wont be able to survie i found them close to 5 or 6 months ago and have had them since now they are going on for 4 in. what do i do
Answers: You might have to have a fishing license but I've never hear of anyone getting a warrant to search a house for pet turtles. If you want to be sure, check with the Ohio Fish and Game Commission.
