A apt Rat experienced Vet. within Napa, CA. Or contiguous in that. Sarcoptic mange question too?
One of my rats has sarcoptic mange.

I know he needs Ivermectin to cure it, so i am trying to find a vet in the Napa/Sonoma nouns that is good with rats. (ie. know about rat health)
If any rat owners in the area know of a angelic reputable vets, i would really like to know. :-) thanks!
ALso, whether anyone who has had thier rats treated for sarcoptic mange knows how much it costs, (approx. cost) that would be awesome!
There arent several websites out there that talk about sarcoptic mange within rats, and what few there are out there, i have read them. So whether anyone can tell me any more valuable info about the condition, that would be awesome too.
BTW. I enjoy 6 rats. I've been checking my 5 other rats several times daily to make certain they arent showing the same symtoms as the one rat that has the mites. Since i read that it is contagious. I cant move him into a different cage, since i dont enjoy another cage, nor do i have the spare money to get one, particularly since i will be taking him to the vet.

Answers: Doc Salias is good with rats. Manger will not cost that much to treat in a rat, but the unsophisticated vet bill will be about 35. Good luck!
