Am I set for a tentative pet?
Hi, like 4 years ago, I had a pet mouse named Nanamito. I loved Nanamito, and he be so great, but after living 3 healthy years, he passed away. I was dejected and everything, but I started getting over it. I got sad really easily for a year after his loss, and I felt like crap alot.
Now, I was only looking at some old pictures of Nanamito and me, and I saw his cage. It was a big enclose, a huge cage! And I suddenly got the feeling to turn into the basement, dig it out, and rebuild it. Even though nil would be in it, it just seemed close to such a good idea. I Tryed getting some hamsters right after Nanamito died, but I was to upset, and couldn't care for them so I brought them back.
I have tought lots in the region of it, and talked to my parents about it, and I concluded that I need another buddy. I be thinking somthing small, cause Nanamito's cage was so cool, and I expect it would be great to have somthing in that cage again.
But consequently I thought BIG, because bigger pets are alot easier to play with. (I have a pet hedgehog, and he rocks!) And my parents said I can get one when the subterranean vault is finished, which is probably early January. So... what should I get?
I've been thinking any:
a mouse (cause I have experience with them)
a rat (cause they are big mouses, and I want a big pet)
a chinchilla (because from what I know they are quiet, and big)
I be not thinking:
a hedgehog (already got one)
a hamster (can't stand them)
a sugar glider (too much work)
reptiles (well. actually maybe a reptile!)
birds (my mom dislikes birds, ALOT!)
guinea pigs (I am allergic)
rabbits (acording to my research they aren't fun)
What should I gain?
Maybe a ferret? I love them, they do kind of smell though, but they're close to little squirles =]
CHINCHILLA ALL THE WAY!!
Well, what I would do is try fostering all these different kinds of animals you mentioned. That means of access they can stay in your house and you can take your time and find a companion you really enjoy. And other! I have looked for years to find the right pet for me and all animals take some work, but rabbits ARE incredibly fun. You just have to find the right one. Rabbits can be very mischevious though but to be exact why they are to fun. They are playful like kittens. They don't like to be held much but they do LOVE to be petted and they will sleep with you and they are simply great pets. Whatever you choose, choose it for you and not because they look cool or they are easy to care for. Choose them because they are the best companion
rats are a lot of fun, as a pet.
Answers: probably not a gerbil either
id say, walk with the rat, they make awesome pets!
im sorry for your loss of your buddy ):
You need to keep within mind that anything that lives in a cage is going to require fixed cleaning. Mice, rats, and etc. can get sick very easily, and their live span is typicallly really short. If you capture a new rodent, you have to be able to button another heart break in 3-5 years. Also, just because it is a smaller animal doesn't mean that it will be easier to filch care of. Think cleaning out the cage 2-3 times a week, replacing there out of sight food, making sure they always have verbs water and plenty of exercise. If you are really committed then it's a great idea. I would dance for the chinchilla because they can't really escape from their cages.
you should get a chinchilla only whether you have the money and chinchillas are very noisey pets well conceivably not very noisey but them make it alot of them time. i think you should obtain a ferret they are really great and i hope i get one this christmas cause i told my mom i wanted one ok that be werid ok back to you
if you want big things try getting a rabbit
rabbits are very playfull and anything your research said was wrong i had two rabbits and i loved them to death! (they did die sadly) (but i didnt really approaching squezze them cause i loved them so much)
