How should i taim my 3 daylight old-fashioned guinea pigs ? ?
They live with there mother 2 times every day, since and after school, i take them out of the cage and thieve them on the grass to give Julia (guinea pigs mum) a brake. But, should i keep doing this. I am trying to make them not panicky when they see a hand coming at them. I have 6 guinea pigs. And 4 in days gone by. Only one doesn't run away, because recently he has simply lost his 2 brothers, at a dog attack.
Since i nursed him back to health, is doesn't run when i pick him up.
I am pretty sure you don't evacuate them alone. because every time i will pick them up they'll run away

you have to edify them not to depend on their mother and gently make sounds not to frighten them and gently pick them up it may help yourself to a while but it will work
i have be around a lot of guineas and raised some babies. most of them dont like one held. you will sometimes find the rare ones that dont mind, but again, rare. they are just 3 days old and shouldnt be away from mom a whole lot. but whether you keep holding them and showing them love and kindness, you may end up next to a rare case. no guarantees. good luck!
Answers: The only guinea pig I've specified that didn't run away was one that I got as a newborn. He be wonderful.
I didn't know he was newborn; I bought him at a pet store and it was obvious he be very young, but guinea pigs are born with their eyes open out and able to run around and eat solid food; I didn't know this at the time. Later when I saw some newborn guinea pigs, I realized he be newborn when I got him.
I just fed him the regular passageway and handled him. Imagine, he never saw a guinea pig since the day he was born! He must hold thought he was human. He would answer police sirens "Weee, weee, weee," and he would answer the telephone ringing, "brrr, brrr, brrr," it was so cut.
So I meditate you are doing the right thing; handle them and they won't be so skittish when they grow up.

If you take the guinea babies off their mum at this age, the stress could cause her to get through them! YOu need to leave them alone for a few weeks.
Guinea pigs are prey animals. It is against their quality to like being held, pet, and cuddled. Keep up the good work! With for a moment patience and kindness, you'll have a loyal and trusting friend that won't go off your side =]
